In a previous blog The Cheapest Life Insurance went through some of the more popular bucket list items from around the world. These included a lot of travel, the Northern Lights and seeing the Seven Wonders of the world.
In today’s blog, we’re doing a part-two really but this time, we’re focusing on what some of the more unusual bucket list items might be, along with some great ones we didn’t get to put into the first blog!
Set foot in all the continents of the world: How about a visit to North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Australia, Antarctica, The Artic and Africa? That should keep you busy with holidays for the next few years!
Watch a Space Shuttle launch – Love this one as it’s a little bit different and there aren’t that many people who have witnessed it!
Go to Space – Continuing the space theme, this one is getting ever closer with plans to launch a commercial space travel operation!
Shower in a Waterfall – We’ve all seen it in the movies, but how many of us have actually done it?
Spend a night in a haunted place – Not for the faint hearted perhaps but still something worth doing before you die!
Write a will – Okay this one may not seem like a bucket list item but it’s one of those things that should be! Having a will allows those who matter the most to you to be beneficiaries upon you dying.
Create a family tree – We all need to know where we’ve come from at some point and creating a family tree can be a great way to do this.
Go to an active volcano – It’s surprisingly easy to do this one and you don’t have to go too far to do it. A trip to Naples in Italy will have you close to Mount Vesuvius which is active…and yes, you can go to the top!
Go to all 50 US states – This one’s a biggie and you’ll want a bit of time to do it but wouldn’t it be amazing to say you’d done it?
Climb to the top of a lighthouse – This one’s a great one. While we take them for granted, there’s something pretty cool about a lighthouse!
We’ll be writing another bucket list blog very soon as it seems there are literally thousands of things to add to the list – both obscure and fairly traditional so do make sure you come back again!
