Here at the Cheapest Life Insurance we love a good tear jerker and as it is just over a week until Valentine’s Day, we thought we would make the most of love being in the air and write a blog about the greatest films about love!

This film is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks and is definitely one of our favourites. This film will touch the hearts of all age ranges and allows the viewers to be a part of an everlasting love story.
2. Dirty Dancing
This iconic 80’s film tells the story of two people coming together, despite the disapproval from others. Frances “Baby” Houseman visits a holiday camp with her family and falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle, despite the disapproval from her loved ones.
3. Gone with the Wind
This classic film from 1939 tells the love story of Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler during the American Civil War. Within the film we see Scarlett not wanting to admit her feelings to the man she loves and as a result she eventually loses him.
This iconic film tells the story of an elderly woman named Rose, as she tells her granddaughter and a crew, about the story of her life during the first and last voyage of the Titanic. This film recounts the story of love and disaster, from the perspective of a fictional survivor.
5. When Harry Met Sally
This film barricades through the lives of Harry and Sally, as they both try and fail while looking for love and continue to bump into each other. Throughout the film they become close friends, but worry that they will be unable to continue being friends, without romantic feelings emerging.

This film shows a guardian angel, that helps a man in distress by showing him what life would be like if he never existed.
7. Wuthering Heights
This is the story of a man who becomes obsessed with vengeance, after his soul mate marries another man.
8. Beauty and the Beast
Beast is a prince who was placed under a spell as he could not find love. By chance he meets Belle, who in the beginning views him as a monster, but the two of them soon fall in love and learn that you should not judge a book by its cover.
This film shows that true love can transcend even through death. Sam and Molly are very much in love, but after Sam is murdered he becomes a ghost and has to warn Molly that she is in danger, through a physic.

This is a romantic comedy about a woman who does not believe in true love, and the man who is madly in love with her.
